Taiwan is a great place for hiking. The island has many mountains. In fact, there are over 200 mountains higher than 3,000 meters! The tallest is Jade Mountain. It is 3,952 meters high.

Many people like to hike on weekends. Some trails are easy for beginners. Others are hard and take many hours. It is good to wear the right shoes and bring water.

When you hike, you can see beautiful nature. There are tall trees and pretty flowers. You might see wildlife like birds, butterflies, and monkeys. The air is fresh and clean.

Elephant Mountain is a popular hike in Taipei. It is short but has great views of the city. At the top, you can see Taipei 101. Many people go there to watch the sunset.

Hiking is good exercise. It makes your legs strong and your heart healthy. It is also a fun way to spend time with friends and family. Taiwan’s mountains are amazing!
