Taipei 101 is a very h\u00f8j<\/strong> building in Taiwan. It has 101 floors! From 2004 to 2010, it was the tallest<\/strong> building in the world. Many people come to see it every year.<\/p>\n

The building looks like bamboo. Bamboo is a lucky<\/strong> plant in Chinese culture. There are eight sections<\/strong> that look like bamboo parts. Eight is also a lucky number in Taiwan.<\/p>\n

\"Taipei<\/figure>\n

Inside the building, there is a huge ball. This ball is called the spj\u00e6ld<\/strong>. It weighs 660 tons! When there is an earthquake or strong wind, the ball swings<\/strong> to keep the building sikker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can take the elevator<\/strong> to the top. The elevator is very fast. It takes only 37 seconds<\/strong> to go up 89 floors! From the top, you can see all of Taipei city.<\/p>\n

Every New Year, there is a big fireworks show at Taipei 101. Thousands of people come to watch. The fireworks shoot out from the building. It is very smuk<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
