One snail can lay up to 1,200 eggs in one year. The babies grow very quickly. This is why they are hard to control. Many places are trying to stop them from spreading.

In some countries, people eat these snails as food. The snails have lots of protein. Scientists study them to find ways to melindungi farms. Giant African snails are truly amazing creatures!
