The Dragon Boat Festival is a fun holiday in Taiwan. It happens in May or June. People race long boats shaped like dragons. The boats have a dragon head on the front.

Teams of rowers sit in the boat. They use paddles to push the boat through the water. One person hits a drum to keep everyone together. The boats go very fast across the river.

People eat special food called zongzi. These are sticky rice balls wrapped in leaves. Inside the rice, there is meat or beans. They taste pyszne and are fun to unwrap.

This holiday remembers a man named Qu Yuan. He was a good and honest person long ago. He jumped into a river, and people tried to save him. The boat races remember this story.

The Dragon Boat Festival is very ekscytujący. Many people watch the races. They cheer for their favorite team. It is a great time to be with family and friends!
