Giant pandas are black and white bears from China. They are one of the most amado animals in the world. Pandas have black patches around their eyes, ears, and legs. They look like big, cute stuffed toys.

Pandas eat bambu almost all day long. They eat for 12 hours every day! Bamboo does not have much nutrição, so pandas must eat a lot. One panda eats about 38 kilograms of bamboo daily.

Giant pandas live in mountain forests in China. These forests are cool and wet. Pandas like to be alone and are very peaceful animals. They spend most of their time eating and sleeping.

Baby pandas are very small when they are born. They are pink, blind, and helpless. A baby panda weighs only 100 grams – like a stick of butter! The mother takes care of the baby for about two years.

Pandas were once em perigo, but China worked hard to save them. Now there are about 1,800 pandas in the wild. Pandas are a símbolo of China and are loved around the world!
