Sharks are incredible fish that have lived in the ocean for millions of years. They were here before the dinosaurs! There are over 500 different espécies of sharks. Some are big, and some are very small.

The great white shark is the most famoso shark. It can grow up to 6 meters long! The whale shark is the biggest fish in the world. It is very gentle and only eats tiny plants and animals.

Sharks have amazing senses. They can smell blood from far away. They can feel movement in the water with special organs on their body. Sharks also have many rows of sharp teeth.

Many people are afraid of sharks, but shark attacks are very rare. Sharks do not want to eat humans. More people are killed by cows than by sharks! Sharks are important for the ocean.

Sadly, many sharks are in danger. People catch too many sharks every year. We need to proteger sharks because they keep the ocean healthy. Sharks are amazing animals that deserve our respect!
