A bee<\/strong> is a small insect<\/strong> that flies from flower<\/strong> to flower. Bees have six legs, two wings, and a small body with yellow and black stripes. They are very busy<\/strong> all day long. People often say “as busy as a bee” because bees never seem to stop working.<\/p>\n

Bees love to fly<\/strong> in gardens<\/strong> and fields. They drink a special juice from inside flowers called nectar. Then they take this nectar back to their home. The home of a bee is called a hive. Inside the hive, the bees turn the nectar into something sweet<\/strong> \u2014 honey<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Honey is one of the oldest foods<\/strong> in the world. People have eaten honey for thousands of years. Bees make honey to feed their babies in the winter. But they make so much that people can take some too. Honey can be put on bread, in tea, or in many other dishes.<\/p>\n

Bees are very important for natur\u0103<\/strong>. When a bee moves from flower to flower, it carries small yellow dust called pollen. This helps plants make new seeds and new fruits. Without bees, we would have far fewer apples, strawberries, and many other foods we love.<\/p>\n

So next time you see a little bee in a flower, do not be afraid. Just watch quietly. The bee is busy doing a very big job for our world.<\/p>\n
