Coral reefs are one of the most \u043b\u0435\u043f<\/strong> places in the ocean. They are full of \u0441\u0432\u0435\u0442\u0430\u043e<\/strong> colors like red, orange, yellow, and purple. Coral reefs look like underwater gardens, but they are actually made by tiny animals<\/strong> called coral polyps.<\/p>

Coral polyps are very small<\/strong> creatures that live together in big groups. They build<\/strong> hard walls around their soft bodies using a special material. Over many years, these walls grow and \u043f\u043e\u043a\u043b\u043e\u043f\u0430\u0446<\/strong> large areas of the ocean floor. This is how a coral reef is made.<\/p>\n

Many kinds of fish<\/strong> and sea animals call coral reefs their \u043a\u0443\u045b\u0438<\/strong>. Clownfish, sea turtles, and sharks all live near reefs. The reef gives them food<\/strong> and a safe place to hide from danger. Without reefs, many animals would have nowhere to live.<\/p>\n

Coral reefs \u043f\u043e\u0442\u0440\u0435\u0431\u0430<\/strong> clean, warm water to stay healthy<\/strong>. The water cannot be too hot or too cold. Coral also needs sunlight because tiny \u0431\u0438\u0459\u043a\u0430<\/strong>-like things live inside the coral and help it grow.<\/p>\n

Today, coral reefs are in trouble. Dirty water and heat<\/strong> from the sun can hurt<\/strong> coral and make it turn white. We must keep the ocean \u0447\u0438\u0441\u0442\u043e<\/strong> to protect these amazing underwater cities.<\/p>\n
