These are suggestions I use with my students every day, and I promise\u2014they work!<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>## Tip 1: Learn in Full Phrases, Not Just Words<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s tempting to memorize vocabulary one word at a time, like \u201capple\u201d or \u201ccomputer.\u201d But it\u2019s much more powerful to learn how these words are used in real sentences. For example:<br \/>\n&#8211; \u201cI would like an apple.\u201d<br \/>\n&#8211; \u201cDo you have a computer?\u201d<br \/>\n&#8211; \u201cThis is a box.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Learning words in phrases helps you understand grammar naturally and remember words together. Try to write new vocabulary into sentences of your own!<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>## Tip 2: Watch TV Shows and Movies<\/p>\n<p>Choose something you enjoy\u2014action movies, comedies, or anything you love. Watching your favorite shows or films in English, even in short five-minute clips, helps you hear real-life conversations. Try repeating funny lines or interesting phrases out loud. If a whole movie feels too difficult, pick a scene and watch it again and again. Each time, you\u2019ll pick up more vocabulary and be able to anticipate what the actors will say.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>## Tip 3: Listen to Music, Audiobooks, Podcasts, and the News<\/p>\n<p>**a) Music:**<br \/>\nSongs are fun and memorable.
