The Amazon Rainforest is the largest jungle in the world. It is located in South America. Most of it is in a country called Brazil. The Amazon is very big, very green, and very wet. It rains almost every day, and the air feels warm and heavy.

Millions of plants and animals live in the Amazon. You can find monkeys swinging in the trees, colorful birds flying high, and frogs jumping near the water. Big cats called jaguars hunt quietly in the shadows. Many strange insects live here too.

A long river runs through the forest. It is called the Amazon River. It is one of the longest rivers on Earth. Fish, dolphins, and turtles swim in the water. People also use boats to travel from one village to another.

Many people live in the Amazon. Some live in small villages deep in the forest. They know the plants and animals very well. They hunt, fish, and grow food. Their special knowledge about the forest is passed from parents to children.

The Amazon is very important for our planet. The trees make clean air for everyone to breathe. Sadly, people cut down many trees every year. We must حفاظت the rainforest. If we lose it, many animals and plants will disappear forever.
