Reading Passage 1:
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals in the ocean. They can communicate (溝通) with each other using special sounds called clicks and whistles (口哨聲). Scientists believe that each dolphin has its own unique (獨特的) whistle, just like humans have names. Dolphins also work together to hunt for food. They swim in groups and help each other catch fish.
Octopuses are also very intelligent (聰明的) creatures. They have eight arms and can change the color of their skin in less than a second. This helps them hide from enemies (敵人). Octopuses can also solve puzzles (解謎) and remember solutions for a long time. Some octopuses can even open jars (罐子) to get food inside!
Both dolphins and octopuses show that intelligence in the ocean comes in many different forms. While dolphins are social (群居的) and work in teams, octopuses prefer to live alone and use their brains to solve problems by themselves.

On the other hand, the ostrich (鴕鳥) is the largest bird in the world. An adult ostrich can be over 2.7 meters tall and weigh more than 150 kilograms. Although ostriches cannot fly, they can run faster than any other bird. An ostrich can run at speeds (速度) up to 70 kilometers per hour, which is faster than most cars in the city!
